Stormwind Theme Music - Lyrics?
Glyphglaven-nagrand1
I’ve been playing for 13 years and just today realized there might be real English lyrics to the Stormwind theme music…you know that part were the mens chorus starts singing, but the words are incomprehensible to me. Does anyone comprehend if these are actual lyrics or just a made up foreign language?

I don’t think that there are any meaningful lyrics. It’s largely “latinesque fantasy language” of the sort that you often hear in epic music nowadays.
That said, some words might have been co-opted to mean something in Ordinary, like how the Invincible lyrics were ostensibly common and we can hear some of its lyrics in places like Lion’s Rest.

If you listen really closely you can hear the lyrics to Security Dance playing in the background.

Looking it up lead me to a reddit post that says this:
No indication as to the accuracy, but I found this on the wow forums:

The penultimate song on Stapleton's 2023 album Higher, 'Weight of Your World' was inspired by Bill Withers' 'Lean on Me', its message echoing the same sentiment of offering a safe place and helping hand to the one you love. In terms of texture, 'Weight of Your World' is one of the most instrumentally layered songs on Higher, featuring electric, acoustic, 12-string acoustic and bass guitars, plus piano, Hammond B-3 organ, synthesiser, Wurlitzer, pedal steel, drums and shakers to support Stapleton's vocals. Generally its mellow, easy-going and slow-building song, the melody of the verse also very subtly hinting at that of 'Lean on Me'. I want you to know wherever your "The Background World" is the fifth track on the 2017 EP Add Violence. Multitracks exist for this song, but were only available on a disc that was sold on eBay. This is the original version. The looping degradation that closes out the track is likely inspired by ambient musician William Basinski's The Disintegration Loops. Basinski was mentioned by Trent Reznor in a 2019 interview with Revolver magazine.[1] The snare drum is sampled from "Closer".[2] Released on a three-track CD-R promo from Capitol Records. "The Background World" made its live debut at the Riot Fest show of the I Can't Seem To Wake Up 2017 tour, with the lengthy outro not performed. It wa This song sounds like a relationship coming to an conclude. It is not because of a lack of love in the relationship. It is because the world around them creates situations that destroy their association. They keep trying to construct barriers between them and the rest of the world so the relationship can exist in a vacuum, and no matter how hard they try, it does not work. It has exhausted them and they go their own ways. "I'm going into you again" sounds like a key change , or notes in 'sharp' which sounds pretty uncomfortable. I think this is the early stage of admitting a relationship is coming to an end, where he tries to fight it and it drives him crazy, perhaps making everything worse. "There is no future aim in time" sounds like the line has a slight echo it. I think it's because he realizes he is actually alone in the relationship and the other person has exited the 'safe room' they designed. I think he wants her, but she has already moved on. "The world is bleeding out It folds itself in two" I believe this is referring to the isolated world they tried to create to safeguard their relationship.
