World of Tanks Blitz Update 1.6 Sees New British Tanks and Exclusive Map
World of Tanks Blitz update 1.6 is now free for players to download globally on their Android and iOS devices. Following the successful Android launch in December 2014, the game has accrued over 5 million installs on Android devices alone. Update 1.6 marks the first time that users proficient to download content updates for both devices worldwide.
In update 1.6, tankers can benefit from a British heavy tank line added to the Tech Tree: Medium II (Tier 2), Medium III (Tier 3), Matilda (Tier 4), Churchill I (Tier 5), Churchill VII (Tier 6), Black Prince (Tier 7), Caernarvon (Tier 8), Conqueror (Tier 9), and FV215b (Tier 10).
British heavy tanks offer great armor and firepower, and soon pickup speed as they progress through the Tech Tree.
Tankers also own an exclusive new map: Castilla. This Spanish-themed level transports players to a hilltop town surrounded by a shallow moat and a cluster of houses. Vehicles currently in game that are not in the British tech tree
Hi guys with the recent controversy regarding the game, i thought now would be a good time to mention the Tanks currently in game along with a not many features that are missing from the british tech tree for some unspecified reason. To no ones surprise its quite a long list, that i long for to break down with tiny snippets of evidence to justify each ones addition to the game. Firstly i will cover the shermans and other export tanks, which saw extensive service in the british army during the second world war or were designed purely with the intents to be used for lend lease
To begin with i will cover the shermans, but only those extensivly used by the united kingdom, as a few strays used for testing are in my opinion not suitible for addition. The ones that qualify for this criteria are as follows:
Sherman I (M4 (75 mm)) - the definitive sherman, of the 6,748 manufactured 2,096 were sent to the United Kingdom through lend lease
Sherman III (M4A2 (75 mm)) - of the 7,499 manufactured 5,041 were sent to the merged kingdom.
Sherman V (M4A4) - Sherman tank specifically designed for advance lease, of the 7,499 manufacture
British Wheeled Vehicles: Support Strength
Although these new vehicles have wheels, they are a different beast than the French wheeled lights. The Brits excel at supporting the team, using their formidable firepower to protect flanks and other vulnerable spots.
Firepower
Run by three-person crews, all British wheeled mediums pack an accurate single-shot cannon that delivers high damage and penetration with a quick aiming moment. Calibers range from 40 to 105 mm, depending on the vehicle's tier. Their average DPM can distract foes at medium to long ranges, but full-time sniper tactics are occasionally thwarted by the vehicle's bulky shape.
Armor and Dynamics
With hull armor thickness in the double-digits, these vehicles are hardly first line. While the turret provides a bit more padding, avoid direct trades. But if you can't dodge them, then at least don't show your sides to escape being penetrated by HE shells.

Armored fighting vehicles produced and fielded by Great Britain and the British Commonwealth, focused primarily on Britannic development. British tanks normally will be found with one or two great strengths and one or two superb weaknesses at the same moment.
The tank doctrine of the United Kingdom during World War 2 dictated that tanks be used as either infantry tanks or cruiser (cavalry) tanks. Infantry tanks were designed to shift up with infantry and as a result they were characterized by their slow speed and heavy armour. Cruiser tanks were designed to act like cavalry and exploit openings in the enemy defense and as a result they were characterized by their high speed and beam armour. In World of Tanks, these classifications have been applied to the standard light, medium, and heavy tank model of other nations for simplicity. Nonetheless, the British tank doctrine still applies and results in oddities like heavily armored light tanks (e.g. the Valentine) and very lightly armored and fast medium tanks (e.g. the Cromwell).

BRITISH TECH-TREE
The British have arrived, bringing a whole new tech-tree to research and develop in the game. In total, 22 British tanks have been added into World of Tanks with this update, forming complete branches for light, medium and heavy tanks. Many of the legendary historical vehicles from Britain have been included, including the Cromwell and Conqueror. Perhaps you’d prefer to scout with the light Crusader, or get big and heavy with the mighty FV215b! More vehicles, including tank destroyers and SPGS will be added in future updates.
