Rain World shipping tier list cuz I saw willow do it and i wanted to do one too LOL

When making this, I realized just how much of a hater I seem like for slugcat ships and I SWEAR I don’t hate fun and am not an asshole about it… please listen 😭 (yapping under cut)

First of all, I fancy inv, they’re just my least favorite slugcat cuz any ship involving them makes me uncomfortable so they take up most of the low tier.
Secondly, most these ships would only serve if these slugcats existed in the same (or near the same) timeline and most accomplish not. ofc when shipping these characters, it can nearly never be canon compliant so I’m fine with shipping cuz I get that it’s fun to ship them. their dynamics can be interesting or cute! But personally, it’s hard for me to ship when they’re unrestrained animals that show very small personality in-game besides their abilities and lore.

I want it to be clear though, I dont HATE shipping (except for the morally questionable ships ofc). It’s just my personal preferences that make it harder for me to connect with shipping a lot of the slugcats. In fact, I drew monk x hunter for a re

i flip between “all iterators are aroace” and being a slivermoon enjoyer

but I can appreciate stories that center around the topic of iterator romance even if it’s got nothing to do with my personal headcanons. given the existence of the karma 2 and 3’s, i really like stories of iterators navigating that :3

What are some other headcanons/original ideas/community-made things placed on the main AU?
The following:
-Artificer X Seeker, Spearmaster X Rivulet, Survivor X Nightcat, and amongst other Rain World ships.
-Personalized Iterator designs that are not seen in-game for the local group such as Chasing Wind and Unmatched Innocence
-Rainworld Mods (Drought, Martyr, etc.) (Permission to use them has been acquired by all persons)
-My own interpretation of the third Surv and Monk sibling
-Some Rainworld OCs (Cameos and incidentals only)
-Iterators associated with specific Slugcats are referred as parental figures
(exception to Five Pebbles and Artificer(landlord)
Saint and Sliver of Straw are associated (mentee and mentor).
-All of the slugcats use any pronoun (usually they/them) and are androgynous

Does stuff love the karma system, rain, cycles, echoes, and other in-game stuff exist still in this AU?
Yes but the bleak/harsh aspects of them are toned down in the main AU. There's also some changes for how the karma system works.
