A. Whats your last day look like?
Probably the same as with Wildstar.
Rest together with friends and reminiscence about the past.
B. What undertake you think wow looks like?
probably F2P at that point, with more seasonal content and all the bells and whistles a F2P game has. Graphics intelligent, still the same.

Is WoW Dead? Comprehensive Analysis
“Is WoW A Dead Game?” sparks a compelling debate within the gaming community, touching upon the enduring legacy and current state of World of Warcraft. Since its inception in 2004, WoW has not only defined the MMORPG genre but also built a vast, immersive universe that captivates millions around the globe. As we find ourselves in 2024, this question becomes increasingly relevant amidst the rapidly changing landscape of online gaming.
In this article, I’ve deeply analyzed why people may think that the game’s dead and researched if it’s really so. As a big fan of the Warcraft universe, I also tried to understand what makes WoW so popular and actually the optimal game ever made. Thousands of players keep buying boosting services, and explore new raids, quests, PvP Arenas, and Mythic Plus dungeons. I tried to ground my opinion on numbers and my personal feelings (which are at least time-tested since I’ve been playing hard since Vanilla and know every single corner of Azeroth and its content).
So, let’s start exploring what we have right now, what we had in the past, and what awaits us. Is WoW still alive,
World of Warcraft is not expired, and it’s not dying anytime soon — so stop saying it is
I have been playing World of Warcraft since 2004. In that time, I’ve seen it pronounced dead approximately 55,321 times, give or take a scant hundred. Every hotfix, every fresh patch, every new dungeon or raid, any PVP changes, and each new expansion has been “The Death of WoW” over the years. Every departure of a person who works on the game. Every change in the game’s story. Every personality death. Every content drought. To listen to some people, World of Warcraft has been dying a very long death over the years.
So, when I see that Battle for Azeroth just sold 3.4 million units in the fastest-selling expansion launch ever, I muse about this dying game.
How did we get here, in August of 2018, talking about the seventh expansion to an MMO that, if you listen to the naysayers, has been gone since whatever expansion they decided it died on? How is it that this expansion sold faster than any expansion that preceded it? Is World of Warcraft undead? I mean, Sylvanas is front and center this extension — maybe that’s the secret.
The game that lived
My sarcasm aside, the fact remains that t
World of Warcraft Hasn’t Moved On — But Its Players Have
Twenty-one years after it first released, could we finally be seeing the beginning of the end for the legendary MMO World of Warcraft? With a host of contributing factors, including accessibility for new players, a new subscription model and improved competition in the market, it seems that many players are jumping ship or have simply grown tired of Azeroth.
While WoW still boasts a reasonably healthy player count compared to most MMOs out there, it is in rapid decline and may struggle to ever reach the heights of its former glory days again.
Overwatch 2 Director Outlines Plan To Save The Franchise
Blizzard acknowledges that it dropped the ball when it comes to Overwatch 2's story content.
Some players insist that there has never been a better time to join World of Warcraft, and as a whole the franchise has accumulated a quarter of a billion players across all its titles.
Such a popular and long-standing game, particularly one of such size and depth, will inevitably run into the problem of losing older players through burn-out while simultaneously struggling to attract newer players who may feel in
"WoW Is Dead": Latest World Of Warcraft Lawsuit Is Getting Negative Reaction From Fans
World of Warcraft's latest legal action has fans fuming. Blizzard has filed a lawsuit against the owners of Turtle WoW, a fan plan to provide unofficial classic WoW servers. With thousands of players across ten servers, and its very own original expansion, Mysteries of Azeroth, Turtle WoW has become a popular, free alternative to Blizzard's official servers.
However, as of August 29, Blizzard had sued the creators of Turtle WoW, alleging several counts of copyright infringement and referring to it as a "pirate server" that "illegally uses [Blizzard's] code, assets, and trademarks" in a statement to Windows Central. Fan reactions to the lawsuit are almost universally negative, including in Screen Rant's own comment section, with user Odin going so far as to say, "And with this final stroke by Activision, WoW is finally dead."
WoW's New Lawsuit Is Already Stirring Up Controversy
What The Lawsuit Means For Turtle WoW
Turtle WoW launched its first unofficial server, the roleplaying and PvE-focused Nordanaar, on October 6, 2018. Multiple other servers would s
