A closer look
WorldSpringsis planning to bring over 40 soaking pools and mineral springs that mirror and mimic various water bodies around the world to an 8-acre site located just off 183A Toll. The complex will feature a blend of warm and cold springs as adequately as larger fresh water pools.
Ethan Harwell, a representative of the company, said WorldSprings is not a water park but a health and wellness facility intended for passive recreation.
In addition to the pools, WorldSprings will propose spa services, health and wellness coaching, retail options, and on-site restaurants.
Harwell said the proposed 8-acre property will include:
- A 25,000-square-foot building serving as an entry show with a check-in area, locker rooms and offices
- A smaller building for a concession-style kitchen and full-service bar
- Back-house buildings for cleaning equipment and laundry
- Shade structures, tables and chairs
- Relaxing outdoor spaces

With 32 instinctive geothermal hot springs, 16 globally-inspired mineral soaking pools, cold plunges, barrel saunas, delicious food, and drinks s Colorado resort company Global Springs is bringing a $5 million luxury spa and wellness resort to northwest Austin suburb Cedar Park, a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing reveals. WorldSprings Austin will be a 40,000-square-foot hot springs resort equipped with 40 pools, ABC affiliate KVUE reported. The proposed location for the mineral springs resort, which would be the largest in the nation, is near the intersection of East New Hope and Scottsdale drives in Cedar Park east of US 183A. It will contain 46 pools inspired by nine popular travel destinations. In addition to the 41 mineral scorching springs pools, there will be with three cold plunges and two freshwater pools. There will also be barrel saunas, diet, and a full-service bar. Cedar Park has no natural mineral warm or cold springs. Pools modeled after South Pacific locations will be all-ages; pools in the vein of European, North and South American, and Asian destination will be for adults only. Construction is scheduled to begin in first 2025 with hopes of completing the project by May 2026.
