Thousands of dogs, exhibitors and visitors from all over the world are expected to arrive at the show in Messukeskus, the Expo and Convention Centre in Helsinki. In addition to the World Dog Show 2025, several specialty shows for different dog breeds will be arranged at Messuhalli on Thursday, 7 August 2025.

The website for the show is at www.wds2025.fi. At first, general information on the show, the Messukeskus venue and Helsinki will be published on the website. August is a good month for travellers in Finland, and the show will hopefully invite visitors to get to know Helsinki as well as the rest of Finland when the summer is at its most beautiful.

Information on the show’s judges will be published in December 2023 in connection to Dog Fair Finland. Registration for the show will open later.

The Finnish Kennel Club is hosting the FCI World Canine Show 2025 in Helsinki. We are looking forward to arrange an unforgettable event for canine lovers all over the society under ”the Helsinki brand”.The year 2025 will be the third time when the event will be held in Finland. The day before WDS, there will also be 65 Circuit Shows for more than 257 breeds.


Helsinki is easy to reach and to move around in. There are direct flights to Helsinki Airport from 140 destinations, with about 200 international arrivals daily. The airport is located 30 minutes (20 kilometres) from the city centre, with fast educate connections to the city centre.

Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is a dog-friendly city with a hotel capacity of 16,000 rooms in the area. Helsinki is a safe, stable, and sustainable city with quality infrastructure and services. The city is located by the sea and essence is close.
